Indulge in the Spicy Delight of Chilli Paneer: A Lip-Smacking Recipe

 Chilli Paneer is a popular Indo-Chinese dish that is loved by many. It's made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) that is first fried and then tossed with a spicy and tangy sauce made with vegetables and sauces. Here's an easy recipe for making delicious Chilli Paneer at home:





Ingredients:

1 block of paneer, cut into small cubes
1 green bell pepper, cut into small cubes
1 red bell pepper, cut into small cubes
1 onion, cut into small cubes
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
2-3 green chilies, chopped
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon red chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Chopped green onions for garnish

Directions:

*In a bowl, mix together cornstarch, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt. Add water slowly and mix to form a smooth batter.
*Dip the paneer cubes in the batter and coat them well.
*Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer cubes until they turn golden brown. Drain on a paper towel and keep aside.
*In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Fry for a minute or two.
*Add the chopped onions, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
*Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
*Add the fried paneer cubes to the pan and mix well with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
