Pasta Party: Crowd-Pleasing Recipes for Your Next Gathering

Pasta is a staple food in Italian cuisine and has become popular around the world. It is typically made from wheat flour and water, and can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, such as spaghetti, penne, or fusilli. Pasta can be cooked in a variety of ways, including boiling, baking, or frying, and is often served with a variety of sauces, such as tomato sauce, pesto, or Alfredo sauce. 

It is versatile, easy to prepare, and can be combined with a variety of ingredients, making it a popular choice for both quick and elaborate meals. It is also a good source of carbohydrates and is enjoyed by people of all ages.




Ingredients:

8 oz. of pasta (your choice of type)
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can of diced tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain the water and set the pasta aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
  5. Add the can of diced tomatoes to the skillet and stir well. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine the pasta with the sauce.
  8. Turn off the heat and sprinkle the chopped basil leaves over the pasta.

Serve and enjoy your delicious vegetarian pasta!

Optional: You can also add some grated parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes to the top of your pasta for extra flavor.
